BLS and Emergency Aid – Paediatrics

Course duration and objective

This course is 3 hours

We train candidates how to assess if an infant is not breathing and how to perform CPR. We know this can be very stressful so we’ll also give you some guidance on how to cope and how to manage a situation like this. We will then train you to recognise and treat Seizures, Drowning and Choking.

Course content

Assessing situations so you can stay safe, act promptly and know what to do
Recognise if an infant is not breathing
Perform CPR on an infant
Knowing when to call for an ambulance
Recognition and treatment of seizures, drowning and choking

Assessment and Qualification

Candidates will be supported and assessed throughout the course
Successful candidates will receive our ‘BLS and Emergency Aid – Pediatrics’ qualification
This certificate is valid for three years
