BLS and Emergency Aid – All Ages

Course duration and objective

This course is 5 hours

We train candidates how to assess if an adult, child or infant is not breathing and how to perform CPR. We’ll also show you how a defibrillator can help with CPR. We know this can be very stressful so we’ll also give you some guidance on how to cope and how to manage a situation like this. We will then train you to recognise and treat a Heart Attack, Seizures, Drowning, Choking and Meningitis.

Course content

Assessing situations so you can stay safe, act promptly and know what to do
Recognise if an adult, child or infant is not breathing
Perform CPR on an adult, a child and an infant
Knowing when to call for an ambulance
Seeing how a defibrillator can help with CPR
Recognise and treat heart attack, seizures, drowning, choking and meningitis

Assessment and Qualification

Candidates will be supported and assessed throughout the course

Successful candidates will receive our ‘BLS and Emergency Aid – All ages’ qualification

This certificate is valid for three years
